Ken Kissock, President & Owner
At 53, Ken has been involved with fitness and health for over 30 years. His passion for health and fitness started in 1974 when he was a student in medical laboratory technology. It was here that he started to train and compete recreationally in the marathon and later the triathlon. After graduation he decided the lab was not for him because he preferred to work with people.
His Philosophy is about "Getting back to basics” with no gimmicks
He is committed to a holistic mind and body approach to health. You cannot separate either mind or body from each other and expect to totally healthy. Living a healthy life is a life journey where it takes dedication to all aspects wellness—physical fitness, mental fitness and nutritional management. It truly is an inside out philosophy because you have to make a commitment to mental fitness so that you can enjoy physical fitness. We are all responsible for our own health. No one person or system can enhance your wellness except yourself.
Second Wind’s Mission is to help facilitate and motivate healthy lifestyle change and to help individuals achieve their goals whatever they be. Ultimately we hope by attaining a healthy life we will take the financial strain off the health care system so that we a have system for children.
